And that's when she said "I'm working on it!" Which means- not yet a done deal. Which brings us back to tenuous. I know it;s a big word, but no doubt Jason understood exactly what that meant.

It doesn't matter - Joubert basically does reality shows- not feature film.
Marc is getting exactly what he wanted out of Effie- a scapegoat for his reality show. He is acting when he pretends to care about Jason;s film- he;s making bank on the TV show.

Yes, and Farrelly should have used some of his famous "sense of humor" to laugh at himself for making two such dumb ass suggestions.
Instead he played the butt hurt card. Aww, little lady with opinions hurt you? Boo hoo.

They also edited the conversation about signatures to make it look like she lied to Effie- but Effie is not wearing her first day's outfit when she is told 13-14 signatures. So, there seem to have been lots of deceptive edits.

Got it- what I face is not actual sexism because somewhere there is a woman who has been mutilated. Okay, boss- thanks!

The disdain/exasperation she has caused Marc Joubert is telling. I cannot believe you can't see that.

She said "working on it" - that clearly means it ain't final.

On what planet does "tenuous" and "working on it" mean "you got it"?
    Not earth.

You could actually see Jason sheepishly realize he was sounding like chicken little when claiming how "foundational" the stunt was to the film. He says the same crap every time. He seemed upset he couldn't say it effected "every frame".
It would have been nice if Marc or Len just laughed at him and said "No",

If he needed clarification, then he needed to ask for it, period. He alone is responsible for his own feigned "confusion". The words "tenuous" and "working on it" have never ever meant "you got it". Let's not pretend otherwise.
If he somehow finds himself unable to talk to her, he could have went to Marc or Len- both

"Tenuous" and "Working on it." No promises- he knew it was an outstanding issue, period. Not resolved.

There's a reason Jason is looking away and staring off into to sky when Effie is try to discuss the stunt- using the words "tenuous" and "fucking working on it"- he knows that is a MAYBE at best, and refuses to hear it. There were money and safety issues to work out- they were still trying to work them out when he

She told Jason she was "working on" getting him "close to" what he wanted. So, no flip was promised.
