Ok, Moore is a great comic book writer, no doubt. But really, the only prose I've read by him was in LOEG: The Black Dossier, and it was painfully boring. I might check out a novel by him, but I have fairly low expectations.

The same thing happened to me with White Jazz. It just seemed like stylistic overreach that quickly turned into self-parody. It actually turned me off to the point that I haven't even attempted the Underworld Trilogy. Now I think I'll have to re-evaluate my stance as well, though.
