It's basically designed to foster rabid obsession.

I run hot and cold on that album, but If You Were Here completely wrecks me.

I've actually gotten Kendrick's dad singing that song stuck in my head.

Yeah, I have a hard time making it through that stretch from Sing About Me/I'm Dying Of Thirst through to the end of Real without crying. Those two songs are powerful enough on their own, but the way the whole album builds up to it makes it such an emotional gut-punch.

Ooh! Does this mean we get to talk about Tusk again? I'm always down to talk about Tusk.

This actually isn't the first I've heard of it - I remember reading somewhere a while ago that they'd asked him to produce Californication (or one of their other similarly bland later albums). I think it's legit.

The Iggy mix definitely delivers on the promise of the album's title, but I prefer the Bowie mix because it's so fucked-up and scary - it sounds like a bad trip.

Electric Warrior is everything that is glorious and great about rock music.

You know what? I take it all back. Sequels and remakes are great. Let's stick with those.

Okay, but the real question is: do you also think the holocaust never happened?

This song is day-ruiningly depressing, but I love it so much. This is also a pretty fantastic bit of writing about it.

No, it's an Outkast lyric with a typo.

Same. It's one of their most mature albums, songwriting-wise, but it also manages to be so anthemic and HUGE that just listening to it makes me feel like I can move mountains.
