And see, I even like the weird, low-budget production sound of WCAL! Gives it a an almost post-punk-y sound that's really unique in the FNM discography.

I'm tempted to put the new one last, but I recognize that that's unfair because I have so much more of a history with the other ones.

Trey also played the whole King For A Day album with Faith No More live, so there can't be too much bad blood.

Mosley-era Faith No More is way underrated.

Yeah, by all accounts Patton didn't even want Trey to join FNM in the first place.

There's something to be said for having a distinctive style though, no? Jim Martin wasn't technically great, but he really meshed well with the band's sound, and I can understand why people miss him.

Yeah, that was the thing I liked about it immediately - at long last, we hear Roddy's voice on a FNM record!

It makes no goddamn sense as a comeback single but it works in context. I think they were deliberately fucking with us.

I'll maintain that their whole discography is rock-fucking-solid. Some albums are better than others, but there isn't a bad one in the bunch.

I haven't really heard much about that since 2012 and… well… Chris Brown's still around. Would be cool if it were true, but I feel like I gotta take that one with a massive grain of salt.

please god don't let lynch do the soundtrack himself

MRAs don't give a shit enough to be racist until they've had a chance to be sexist first. I think we're okay on this one.

of… what?

They should just replace all the Harry Shearer voices with a loud, shrill dial tone that starts and stops at seemingly random intervals.

True fact: a person I know works in a kitchen with the guitarist from SoulDecision.
