Innocent bystander

I apologize, I hadn't seen your previous reply until today. I totally wasn't trying to pick on you or engage you specifically & I'm definitely not on this site just trying to troll or be a dick. Maybe I should have posted these as comments & not replies. Sorry.

I found it strange that Brendan backs up Kayla's story to her school counselor about the Birthday party incident in his confession. And that she asks her counselor if blood could seep up through concrete before Dassey tells police that Avery killed Halbauch in the garage. I also found it strange that in her statement

The Camulet Co. officer testified that he didn't think they had planted the key, but it may have been possible to do so if he was distracted. He wasn't instructed to "watch" these guys, I don't think anyone was supposed to be watching them, It had only been decided that Camulet Co. would be handling the case & taking

The search on day 1 only lasted for 2 1/2 hrs. They found the key on day 3, during the second thorough search for evidence which lasted 3 3/4 hrs. The key was never under a pair of slippers nor in plain sight at any point before being discovered. We know this from testimony & pictures of the bedroom. I know people who

The key was in the bedroom & found on day 3, during the 2nd thorough search of his whole trailer (which consisted of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a livingroom & a kitchenette area). The first thorough search lasted 2.5 hrs & the 2nd 3.75 hrs. The key was never sitting there in plain sight until discovered, Lenk himself is

That is "Avery" interesting point. LOL Really though, you're right. In the pictures of the blood evidence found in the car it does look more of a bright red than a brown color.

Luminol testing found a 3ft. spot in the garage which couldn't be determined as blood. They believe this to have been the bleach spot Dassey describes in his confession's. In his drawings of the crime scene Dassey places Halbauch's body on this spot. The bullet was found hidden under a compressor. People believe that

He did have one & it was presented in the trial. I believe this was the prosecutions witness, but it did state that he was nonverbal in his responses much of the time & often responded with the word "yeah" & "grunts". While some parts he scored in average ranges, some parts he scored in the bottom 4%.

They found fingerprints on the car but they were too "greasy" to draw a conclusive match. We also can't conclude that they weren't Halbauch's because they never had an example of Halbauch's prints to test against.

I actually felt the same here. Watching the series, Dassey's treatment was what infuriated me the most. After reading his interview transcripts (the first of which has no video footage, so it can't be seen on youtube), I was left with a very different opinion. The things I found most damning in his situation were the
