Mary loved Francis so much in real life. He was her weakness. I don't think she ever truly moved on.

The pictures posted by Adelaide and Rachel made them look older than they did in the show. I think the shows dark lighting/filter made the aging makeup not show up. And, they were only in heir forties and fifties (some people don't age as deeply.)
