I read that Ken Olin wouldn't have cast Jim Carrey in the film Doing Time On Maple Drive if he had known that Carrey was a comedian on In Living Color. I think he wanted a serious actor for the part and Carrey was good in the movie, but Olin didn't like that he had a comedy background.

He's been well and he's been spent, but not at the same time. ;)

He also dabbled in comic book horror with "Creepshow 2" opposite Dorothy Lamour in her last role. Rest in peace, George!! I'll miss you.

"Scrooged" is another favorite Karen Allen movie of mine. Always liked her and her dimples. She seems so nice on film and in person.

I love your profile pic. Big Lucy fan. I have not seen that episode of Picket Fences in years, but I love the show so much and yes, there were many startling images on the show. In the first episode was a dead woman in a dishwasher. Remember that one? Only the great David E. Kelley could come up with such weirdness.

Morse is an exceptional character actor. The Green Mile, The Crossing Guard, Disturbia and Tales from the Crypt weren't mentioned. I enjoyed him in these roles, too. He's far too underrated an actor.

This was a bit disappointing as my favorites of his roles weren't even mentioned. He was in the My Girl movies, acclaimed TV movies like Adam and The Burning Bed, fluff like Encino Man and was decapitated and frozen in a recurring role on Picket Fences. Why weren't any of these roles discussed? :(

The first sentence of this article made me not want to read the whole article. So I didn't. I like Grease and have for years. You don't need to knock it like that, just review this version of it and be done with it.

He played a bland character on Seinfeld once or twice. I thought that would have come up in the conversation, too. Hmm…

I thought Lynn Redgrave was kind of funny in the few scenes she had in "Peter Pan". I don't remember liking much else about the movie, though. It's been years since I've seen it, however.

I don't know half of these people, but was pleased to see Ann Dowd, Kim Dickens and Michael Pena on the list. Dowd, especially, is an actress I have admired for years. She was very good both in Compliance and in the Stephen King film Big Driver recently. She deserves more recognition.

I hope no one starts referring to it as the Golden Age of Anthology Television or some such nonsense, like at last year's Emmys, I believe, when the current crop of shows was referred to as a new Golden Age of Television. The Golden Age of Anthology Television was in the past with The The Twilight Zone, The Outer

I forgot about all the family films he did. That's mostly what I know him from, having not seen any of his 80s classics from beginning to end. I always thought he was a likable actor, kind of an Everyman. I DVRed Lavalantula. I just need to sit down and watch it.

And was the star of the film Tales from the Crypt Presents Demon Knight, too. ;)

I've always loved 'Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da' since I was a kid because it was the theme song for the show Life Goes On which I've always loved. I always crank up the radio on that one. That song never seems to get recognized as a "great" Beatles song, however. What a shame.

She had a stint on Desperate Housewives for awhile, I remember. I always liked her. She's a beautiful lady and immensely talented.

I saw him in a Nancy McKeon TV movie called "Baby Snatcher" and I was surprised to see him in it because it came out the same year as "Reservoir Dogs". His star was on the rise.

He did a Twilight Zone episode on the revival from 2002 and he played a schmuck who got to trade his life with someone else's, a rich man, and the twist was that the rich man's wife had a lover and was plotting to kill her husband (who is now Frank Whaley). Good episode. I loved him in Swimming With Sharks and

I've always liked John Heard. I've heard about the troubles in his personal life, too, but I'm always happy when he pops up onscreen in anything.

She's one actress whose work I've somehow managed to never really see. I've seen Harry and Son, Dead Gorgeous and Someone Like You. That's it. I don't know how I haven't seen more of her work.
