    I watched The Thick of It in a bit of a staggered fashion at first. I binged the first couple of series' (when they only had 3 eps each), then caught series 3 and 4 as they came out. Really loved it, thought it was very funny and well written. One of the better comedies for sure.

    I remember reading that this legitimately happened to this group but it wasn't caught on camera. They all thought it was really funny so re-enacted it, with that being the video we all know.

    Do you not think it's more a case that Jimmy was once genuinely a bit scheming and self serving, but with some hard life lessons (dad dying, nearly going to prison etc.) he's more recently started acting better due to always fundamentally having had a "good heart".
