I actively disliked the Mother because of how much work the show put in to making her seem likable. (I'm contrary like that…).
Ratings lead to more seasons than originally planned, then they have to double down too much on the Ted and Robin aren't destined for each other thing to maintain the ending (because if they ever actually let Ted move on then the ending wouldn't make sense, but then they had to keep ramming it down everyone's throats…
From Freaks and Geeks surely?
Really? You liked the mother? I found it really obnoxious how much the show tried to make her likable. That ep where it was the whole series from her perspective in one episode was utter trash.
It looks like too much exposure in public is what got him into this position in the first place though!
I read that as "I edit (and am the sole reader for)…"
Pfft! The toughest lawyer on Wall St didn't get where he was today by spelling and reading good - he got there by beating up grammar nerds until they did his work for him!
Must have been before Wii bowling put the alleys out of business…
You wanted to go and see TinTin 2 kids? You'd better have done your science homework!
Australian even.
Man I remember as a teenager watching that - her semi see through dress was the thing I remembered most about the movie…
Also yeah they establish in the 1st one that Weisz is half Egyptian, so her being the long lost descendant isn't completely implausible there either (I do remember wondering why an English woman is descended from an Egyptian before I realised that they'd done that in the first one). I also give precisely zero fucks…
There was nothing in that movie that didn't make in-movie sense though. I mean it was loose sense but it still works imo.
TinSquared (1. I don't know how to write it properly in Disqus. 2. I kinda like that it's more obscure if it's written out like this. )
Devils advocate: you COULD'VE just said "at the end"…
I'm confused by the ranking order there - you talk up how the magic of the series is about the fun and adventure but you rate the 3rd movie which had excised most of the fun and adventure higher than the second one just because the second one touched on the same beats as the first one too much? Stupid popcorn movie…
I like that they didn't have the same woman throughout the series. (Plus according to canon she would've been pregnant with Thr Beef so she wouldn't have been much good in Crusade…)
Crusade is like 4x better than Raiders. Sean and Harrison had fantastic chemistry.
Didn't the majority of white women vote for her still?
