Point taken. The leads were flat and the plot was a mess. However Jupiter has astounding visuals and costume designs. Valerian looks to be at least a step up from Jupiter. I trust Besson on this.

Poor Nick Stahl. I hope he's feeling better these days. Hope someone (Claire Danes maybe?) can get him another gig.

Besson said in an interview that he intentionally made blue the dominant color for this film.

I like films that take risks. Jupiter Ascending was a failure but an interesting failure at least. Besson seems to have really put his heart and soul into this. I have faith that Valerian will be something very special for all of us. Spread the word.
