It was.
It was.
Hunger Games films better than the books?
Harry Potter the gold standard of YA?
Or because it was by far the best rap album of last year.
Hey, what do you know?
The ring did make him disappear!
This newswire title is seriously misleading… I thought it was some kind of Fox-Newsified "I'm black, and I don't know why you white folks still have any guilt over slavery. Water under the bridge" type statements. And the article is basically the exact opposite.
Shame on you, editors.
Agreed. Cloud of Unknowing is incredible. Pirate Jet is great, too, with one caveat. The robo-vocals in the background, going "pirate jet, pirate jet" the whole song… just kind of distracting from an otherwise awesome song.
Well it seems I offended you, when I was trying to ask an honest question. Sorry about that. Let me try again, because I'm interested in what you may have to say.
Not to sound too elitist, but how do you feel you know the band well enough to pass judgment on them after only being a fan for a few months? I think it takes time to gain familiarity with a band and their music, particularly one with as deep and powerful a discography as the New Pornographers, before making…
Yeah, no kidding. I checked this article to see if the same asshat had written it.
Also, what's wrong with Electric Version? Geez…
"Run The Jewels is not for your children"-
You're right! Pharrell would have gone on producing and guesting on good music, rather than making awful music that feels disingenuous, and Cee-Lo, who actually understands soul music, would have had another monstrous and well-deserved hit.
Instead, Pharrell is now a joke who wears an Arby's hat.
You're wasting your time. These sucka-ass muhfuckas don't even jive with the fly shit.
They can run naked backwards through a field of dicks.
Seriously, that's a lot of streaming.
That's not really what I'm getting at here. I'm frustrated that Sam has a pointless axe to grind with superhero movies and belabors the point constantly. He writes the news as if it's his objective to insult anyone who would find the news interesting, which is pathetic and nonsensical.
As far as the news itself: I'm…
I wish that someone other than Sam would write the superhero movie newswires. He obviously doesn't like the movies, and he writes like a whining old man who hates the newfangled nonsense the kids watch in their movies these days.
Good job though, Sam. Not liking popular things and telling everyone about it constantly…
I know I'm really late to the discussion, but I just had to comment on the "Portal is a scary game, guys. Really." tone of the review. Whaaaaaaat?
I don't know, I think plenty of people enjoyed Flatline, I think it's a point of general consensus that the Boneless are some of the better monsters in recent memory, at least. I just don't think a lot of people would place it at the top of a list, episode-wise.
I'm a bit puzzled by Alasdair's fawning adoration of this season and the dynamics of the Doctor, Clara, and Danny. Clara has never really grabbed me as a companion except for her short stint as a Dalek brain, and is most of the time either bland or outright annoying (Amy is a really hard act to follow, but still-…
"Nolan's movies only pay lip service to grand, operatic ideals, they never actually show them."
That's been happening since mid-way through phase 1…
