Agreed, bar A Scanner Darkly. I'd just finished the book when I went to see it at the cinema and was blown away by how closely it matched the book, aside from a plot reveal happening at a slightly different point in time.

"making movies, making songs and fighting round the world…"

The fight sounds more interesting than the movie. Maybe release the footage of that fight instead, call it "Bad Hombres" or something like that.

I had to watch that damned film in 20 minute installments. I still can't really recall what happened.
