Though "Strange Brew" is required watching in Canadian Social Studies classes. Also, Canadian citizenship requires immigrants to pass a test showing their command of knowledge of Canada imparted by that movie. As it should.

My sample size was extremely small. Maybe 3 full episodes and a 5 or 10 minutes here and there. But one of the episodes I saw had the word "regionals" so many times that it made me think of the Community Christmas episode. Might just have been serendipity.

I figured they'd end the season with a big death. Like Tommy from season one. I kept rooting for killing Laurel and replacing her with Sara. Unfortunately, they decided not to.

That was a character the writers clearly had no clue what to do with.

This doesn't surprise me… but it does make me sad. Other than the fact that they're both good looking I see absolutely no reason why they would be together… I mean it quite literally when I quoted Dwight, either one of them could do much better.

I liked the season 3 Christmas episode. I thought the songs were great. Also, I hadn't seen Glee prior to seeing this episode (so I only had a vague idea of what they were giving the finger to). But after seeing a couple of episodes of Glee I realized they do say fucking "regionals" all the goddamned time!

I just finished season 2 of Arrow and was surprised how much Felicity went down from season 1, where I actually liked her. Her pining for Oliver, and the "will they/won't they" crap was annoying.

Or a larger one. A poll in Britain showed that 44% of the British public believed that fewer than 5000 civilians were killed in the invasion of Iraq. A number that is only about 3% of the most conservative "estimate".

Alexander from Galaxy Quest is great. But Hans Gruber was THE villain of my teenage years. Any villain to appear in any movie in that era would have to face the daunting task of living up to Hans Gruber, which they really couldn't. That makes Gruber the more iconic role to my mind.

I'm looking forward to the first YouTube video of some guy shooting his buddy while he's wearing this armor. Cause shooting each other for kicks is always the smart thing to do.

Yeah, but old = prestigious.
New = batshit crazy… I'm looking at you Church of Latter Day Saints.

I want to up vote the "RIP Alan Rickman". But want to change the "I'll never forget you" part to Hans Gruber. I'm torn here.

That's because Xenu is unmakefunofable. Who wants to get on the wrong side of the galactic dictator?

"Waiting for Superman"…. seriously? The only thing that piece of shit inspired me to do was confirm my suspicion that it was nothing but a propaganda movie pushing the privatization of education. A suspicion easily confirmed.

Sounds awesome. Michael Bay and a War on Terror themed propaganda movie… together at last. Someone is at last listening to white males aged 18-49, no matter how dumb their suggestions are.

The Middle East. Come for the big mercenary paychecks… stay for the ability to kill people with almost total impunity.

Finally, liberal Hollywood gets one right!

That may be true, but he was no Dwigt.

I'm not sure which is worse… a fake death hoax… or a hoax to make a real death seem like it was faked.

That's shitty.
