There is no "Edmonton City Park"—it's just saying that it's taking place in AN Edmonton city park. That is Pleasantview Park, which is a couple of blocks away from the studio where SCTV was shot. A couple of the buildings along the skyline haven't changed in thirty years, so it's easy to pick out.
