Alas, I fear that GoT has jumped the dragon.

I love the show, but if you haven't read the books, you're missing out. The books are so much better it isn't even close. Also, the show veers off in strange places and misses some of the best parts.

Reminded me of the Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror", where Kirk, Uhuru, McCoy and Scott are "transported" into evil Star Trek universe. Very well done!

They never returned to their Charles Kuralt glory days of 2 to 3 minutes. It is usually 35-45 seconds, but some of hers have recently gone slightly longer. Still, one of the best shows on TV.
