I think it's more a mockery of the whole Instagram fan worship phenomena in general, with a nod toward Taylor Swift…but not hostile intent toward her.

I think she's just missing the point of the show, and I wish that weren't the case because AV Club reviews are high quality and this might not be the best fit for her. The review itself is well written, but come on, the whole show is parody.

Yes! It's one of the wittiest shows I've seen in a long time. Drives me up the wall that people aren't seeing what it is.

Wow, I couldn't disagree with the D+ more. I think this show is bitingly hilarious, and the Chanel-o-ween segment at the beginning did have me laugh out loud. Come on, it's satire about society in general - and adds a large dash of surrealist humor - and is in on the entire joke. Did you miss that?
