    lol..I have to admit that the freak band is not really playing the instruments, but then it's still kind of interesting to watch them on stage pretending. But the record player? Yes..they've used one in several of the episodes. It is set in the 50's after all.

    One of the most interesting things I find with AHS…both in this season and last years "Coven" ,is that the majority of characters are based on real people from history (or even present times). Go to AHS Wikipedia and look up the character each actor plays (there will be links). Fascinating! (and scary).

    Jupiter Florida (or near it) is the place a lot of circus performers and shows spend their winters. I'm assuming it's the "off travel" season for them. Either that or you have a completely valid question. And…I DO agree…it would be fun to see them traveling :-)

    Sorry cleek…guess you haven't been watching. On AHS the have an old record player, plus the freaks have their own band that play the music. It's true that they are sometimes playing music (some of it very now) that wasn't around at that time, but Ryan Murphy explains that in several interviews. If it's not that
