I like Slanted & Enchanted but a lot of it is pretty derivative of The Fall.

Agreed on Mikey Day. He's been pretty good in a few things I've seen.

Oh boy, another underwhelming example. You may as well argue that the knockout game is taking over the nation. You're just right wing pearl-clutching.

Oh I'm sure free speech at conservative schools like Liberty University and Hillsdale College is restricted quite a bit.

Lol the opinion piece of a conservative professor is your proof.

Give me some examples of liberals mocking christianity in general, and not as a form of criticizing the position of certain christians. Seems to me the bigger culprits of mocking christianity for pure religious sake are your very own atheists, and not liberals in general- as many liberals are christians. As a matter

Oh yeah, all the same people who whine about SJW's were up in arms because Mad Max was too feminist. Kudos for stating your atheism in the same sentence that you white-knighted those poor persecuted christians. You would think an atheist would know the difference between criticism for trying to push your religion on

When it applies to a worthy cause. Like I've said a few times, context is key. And I think even most college students have got that one figured out. And even then, censorship and criticism are two different things. But I'm interested in listening if you have any concrete examples that support your argument. And should

Blazing Saddles is a film in which the only character who isn't a buffoon or flawed in some way is the black sheriff, who uses his superior intelligence to control the white masses. The only use of n*****r are in clear attempts to further magnify the stupidity of the racist white people. If that movie was released

It's just odd to hear a conservative lament that a film made by a liberal for liberals wouldn't be tolerated by liberals. I note that when I give you a concrete example with Chappelle the best you can come up with is "lightning in a bottle." I'm currently missing the liberal freak out over Key & Peele- I guess more

With all respect, i feel that view is an over-generalized cop-out. Chappelle was ten years ago and the liberal establishment didn't freak out over him, because they understood the context. There will always be a place for well-done socially provocative humor, and the vast majority of it is made by and for liberals.

I was raised in an extremely liberal household and no word offended my mom more than the "n" word and she thought Blazing Saddles was hilarious. It's a liberal movie. It makes fun of racist rednecks. It was the same thing as Chappelle. Invariably it's conservatives who are offended because things are being said that

1. Kinks
2. Stones
3. Who
4. Beatles
Favorite Song: Animal Farm
Favorite Album: Muswell Hillbillies
Closest songwriting heir to Ray Davies: Dan Treacy, Television Personalities

Although it's not as direct, I'm sure that "The Gang" was influenced by Trailer Park Boys. All three shows share a lot of similar themes and character traits.
