I still think he looked best in under armor with a stocking over his face. The proper mask never looked right to me. It gave him ape mouth.

I gave up on that show very early, so maybe there's a reason for the lack of costume, but…costume = easily swapped in stunt double. Seems like a pretty simple idea to me.
