I think this is a little misleading and a little like saying "if you like blue cheese there's no difference between Roquefort and Stilton".

So much "Hardware" trailer that I cringed.

"Finest quality, superior workmanship."

Usually a lot of food, often taking a bite of something after a shot. There's a very famous scene in a Russian war film "Fate of Man" based around this concept.

I reckon he's missed a trick there, not making the book a bibliosode of "Man to Man with Dean Learner".

What it _needs_ to be is "Natural Born Killers", but it won't be that so as far as I'm concerned it can be "The Mask", who cares…

Not a brilliant film by any stretch, but I did like the near-future in which the film took place. I'm a bit of a sucker for films happening "tomorrow".

I do love that James Cameron twice, with T2 and "Aliens", took a relatively/comparatively low-key concept and amplified it while a) making it good, and b) taking nothing from the original. For one sequel to have those qualities is great, for two is near genius.

The OGLAF crew is also responsible for this very different, but great used-to-be-print-is-now-digital series.

I know it's not up to him, but I would much rather Toby Jones were in another season - or hell, just another Xmas special - of "Detectorists" than this twaddle.

Moved to SF as a requirement for Cliff joining the band, kicked out Dave Mustaine, SF-based guitarist Kirk Hammet joined, band became part of the Bay Area Thrash scene.

If said with a serious inflection on the "beer" part and a sarcastic one on the "my good sir" part, it's pretty Scottish.

I'm not sure people have it in for David Hare, I think it's more that while Nighy was good in them overall they were a bit… ummm… shit?

I always say I'll wait until they're all up and listen to them in a row, but inevitably I cave before the end and wind up listening to just two or three with a painful wait for the remainder.

Listening to Bill Nighy on the radio as lush actor, turned detective-by-circumstance, Charles Paris is just a delight. There are a load of series available on your Amazons and whatnot and they're all just lovely.

Not a bad list, here's mine.

1992: Hardboiled
1993: (I'd love it to be "Romeo is Bleeding) Tombstone
1994: Natural Born Killers, but possibly Drunken Master II cause holy shit that fight in the fire!!
1995: Heat, but it might be Bad Boys cause seeing that at the pictures was great.
1996: Mission:Impossible, but would be lovely to go left-field and

Get outta here.

HH is a fair bit more smug than FF because he is an amazing thief, whereas FF is kinda a shitty detective.

I was going to say he would be a great subject for a "Random Roles", but 2008 already beat me to it.
