You really ought to go on Mastermind, mate. Your speciality subject could be "Missing the Point Entirely Even When It's Spelled Out to You in Plain English". I reckon you'd be cracking at it!

You would be 100% correct if spreading disinformation about how even slightly unusual words are pronounced wasn't utterly hilarious, but it is, so your information is erroneous (pronounced arrow-niece).

Pronounced Cyan, like the colour.

The scene with him and her in the bank was the first big laugh I had during the show and I really like the arc his character took.

Do they have fleas in America? "Bedbug Parcel".

Loved this and would also encourage people to watch it. Yes, it's perhaps too tidy and a bit obvious, but then it's not a Twilight Zone (I'm old) episode and there are individual scenes and character arcs that are well worth it.

Worth pointing out that Thrawn will be voiced by Lars Mikkelsen, brother of Mads Mikkelsen and, depending on when you first encountered him, probably best remembered as the President of Russia or the wannabe mayor of Copenhagen.

When I were a lad, this was the only way my friends and I would eat McDonald's fries. Except that one kid who substituted a chocolate shake. Fucking freak!

I think the fact that there can still be a discussion about this points to one of the reasons why BR is the best sci-fi film evs!

See "Enemy". You might not really like it, but you should see it.

Ere pal, ahm frae Tehnsee. Mephis bairn en breid.

Anyway I'm just coming back from a club, right, passing by your gaff and I remembered, you owe me twenty quid.

These kinda threads really drive me emmental.

I just got my deluxe edition of Scythe and while I haven't had a chance to play it yet, I have to take my hat off to Stonemaier Games for producing a gorgeous product. It does help that Jakub Rozalski's artwork is just wonderfully evocative.

I think absolutely has licence to do it, but the layers it creates are very meta. Like, "Christine" was fiction, but this new monster car story? This is totally real.

I had to wiki and the last King novel I read was "Cell", which was okay but certainly didn't make me want to read more. I haven't even read the last few Dark Tower books, something the 15yo me would have thought impossible.

I'm reading "Bazaar of Bad Dreams" at the moment and as much as I can't get into King's long-form work lately, the stories still hit the spot.

No "Animal Man" or "Arkham Asylum"?

I really like the unreliable narrator aspect, but the rest of the writing feels weightless to me. I think that's down to me becoming the star of World's Grumpiest because every time I read something heralded as "innovative" or "different" I think "nope".

There is nothing in fruit that you don't get better and more of in veggies - apart from maybe berries. Eat veggies, loads, different colours.
