I may have shouted in joy when douchestache missed that easy clue about UCLA (USC is private). I was even more esctatic when he lost. Good riddance.

Ditto. I really hope he goes out tomorrow.

I think of many things when I think of Harley Quinn. Drunken College Sorority Girl isn't one of them. I'm so underwhelmed.

They used to, but they weren't getting enough page views to justify continuing to do so.,

All the pieces were here for a good episode, yet it decidedly felt slow, and I think I can trace it back to two things, which is mostly being in agreement with the recap.

Joseph Morgan has said he wishes he could they could skip ahead a few years so Hope could be older, but because the show is still kind of tethered to TVD for now, they can't, so I think even the cast feels you on the Hope thing.

The second I started watching, I knew that our guesses that Todd was a one and done were spot on. I'm glad Alex is gone, but still hope for a stronger group tomorrow.

It took the second clue to get it because I fully expected each clue to rhyme with a different lake.

It's always worth trying. I passed the first round for the college test back in the early 2000s with no problem, and since then have had rounds which I felt were easy and others that have killed me. It's 50 questions in 50 categories, and the assortment you get, and whether it plays to your strengths, is pure luck.

LA airs it twice a day - older repeat at like 3 and new ep at 7, hence prime time!

Plus that the victory was over SD made it so much rhe sweeter. Have high hopes for the season!

Awful but kind of unsurprising. Even in his earlier appearances it was wagering that kept him ahead, I never got the sense he had trivia mastery like Chu or Jennings. While I expected him to go out because of his bidding, I thought he'd at least have made it to final!

And that's why I'm rooting for him more than I have any champion in recent history. He seems giddy when he does and it's just refreshing to find a player who doesn't take it as the ultimate in Serious Business.

Huzzah for being poor. Why pay double for a service I can't appreciate between my bad hearing and unoptomized audio equipment?

If anything, it shows that going DD hunting at the earliest phase of the round when you don't know the categories isn't always the best bet, especially if you need to be more aggressive because you have skilled contestants nipping at your heals and/or because you keep slipping from the lead.

I was impressed with the DD guessing, but I felt like he was never aggressive enough with the wagering. I mean, for the first round he bet all he could, but by the second round he should have bid more seeing how well his opponents were doing.

I hate those confessionals too, especially since they seem to to serve as padding for a lot of shows where 22 minutes isn't enough time and yet they don't have enough material for 44 minutes without losing pacing.

I honestly feel like Plec et. al learned from the crossover with Tyler - you can't have it crossover just for the sake of crossing over. With all the shit that's going on in NOLA, Caroline is quite literally the last thing that's on Klaus' mind. He has no reason to go to Mystic and her going to NOLA would be even more

Very true. But man, talk about a big pair of shoes to fill.

Yes. Steve R. McQueen is his grandson. He's not bad, but he totally doesn't have his granddad's charisma or coolness either.
