If meant for 15 year olds, why not just cast as such?

Agreed that lack of elimination killed the tension and made it feel like filler. The format could have worked - but only if they saved that bit of news for afrer the cooking was done.
I was practically yelling at the TV over that. I thought that was the easiest question of the category!
MTE. I'm guessing the flavors were familiar and comforting and that's what gave him the nod. At least the show is smart enough to keep these kind of "judges" to non-elimination quickfires that don't have a big outcome as a whole. Even if George didn't habe immunity, he would have been called out, but not in real…
Allegient ruined the series for me so I know how you feel.
Digital Daggers did a version of it a while back that embraced the downbeat meaning of the song, and the Vampire Diaries used it to fantastic effect as Klaus killed Carol Lockwood as she pleads for him to spare him because they (she and Tyler) only have each other, and the scene embraced a whole sense of meeting again…
Then can't you arugue taking some back is part of the game too? Dick move to dick move. Seems valid.
The Mise En Place challenge is what lead to George's first ouster. It was just an all-seafood version.
MTE. He psyched himself out before even seeing what Blais bought. He should have done what Doug did and simply ignored the toys. Nothing in rules said he HAD to use them, Blais wanted to provide them in case they wanted to.
I feel like had she not been greedy by taking the whole basket (which was excessive) then we wouldn't have had a problem.
IMHO, George was a drama-free choice. Plus if you were voted out early, would you want to give someone like Kerri Ann who'd had a long run another chance? I'd voted for George too, in that spot.
I liked the first just enough to give the second a look, which is when I gave up. Hope they plan on toning him down. He was such an unlikable protagonist that I don’t know it will translate to screen well.
I can definitely see the potential, but how long should one really be expected to wait until that potential is made good on? It's like it lost momentum by choosing to not refilm the pilot and never quite found it's footing after that.
That's what bugs me about it. All the elements are there. It SHOULD be more engaging and it somehow isn't. And for the life of me, I can't figure out why.
I feel like this will be a last chance for Constantine for me - Liked the premise, but last week couldn't hold y interest. And how that happened given that it was decidedly creepier than "the acetate" isn't a good thing.
They didn't say it was kosher, they just pointed out the irony that a nominally kosher chef won with a lobsrer dish since the cuisine ain't exactly known for lobster.
Love these kinds of episodes - let the chefs cook and see what happens.
I love me some The Originals flashbacks, ultimately just crossing fingers that Mikael doesn't try to kill Ansel again. Because man. The last thing Klaus needs is to stumble over his father's corpse.
She specifically told him to NOT listen to it. He didn't really listen to her. Either way though, it all ties back to the show cramming so much in that characters don't have time to breathe.
Nope. Producers have already said we won't see it, period.
