seriously, is this show thrown together in an afternoon using iMovie? either production is messy/rushed, forcing post into last-minute saves, or the editor needs to be fired. how often is a scene set up by an awkward voice-over line set over a generic establishing shot? plus, there was no reason why this episode

why was there no mention of lydia being presumed dead? wouldn't everything she said be immediately suspect since she's basically a walking corpse, as far as law enforcement is concerned? it was especially annoying when it was never mentioned on any of the news bulletins playing in the background.

TV is such an imperfect medium, in the sense that it will usually end either before you want it to or long after you want it to, and tonight's episode really highlighted that for me. watching everyone dance at prom, i got such a sense of closure, and it's really tragic to have "awkward" coming back next year without
