They sure look modern. But by God the way they title the people and the names are so awful.

Yeah. They can be as historically immcaurate as they like but they could at least pronounce names right

I don't care about accuracy or clothes but the way this show titles the french royals and nobles always take me out of it.

Movies do this all the time. And in the marie antoinette by Coppola, they solved this by calling every one by their title. This show could easily solve this by saying the prince of conde rather than lord conce, or comte of Narcisse rather than lord narcisse. The whole placing lord in front of someone's name did and

Not seigneur. Monsieur le prince or just the prince of conde. They keep calling him lord conde and that is not true. It is of conde. Because his family name is Bourbon and Conde is a title.

I don't expect historical accuracy. But the show supposedly takes place in France where they never address people as lord because that title does not exist.

My biggest quibble with this chow is Conde's character. No one would have called him Conde in his time. Is it that difficult to call him Prince of Conde, which was his actual title. Also how that this show call people Lord, there is no equivalent to that in the french nobility. I don't care for the historical accuracy
