I'm confused about why Jack all of a sudden became suspicious of Hannibal. Miriam Lass shooting Chilton seems to fit pretty well with the idea that Chilton is the ripper. Why would that make Jack suspicious of Hannibal, instead of just making him more convinced of Chilton's guilt?
