"You'll have to go, you see, because this, this will hurt him"
Holy fuck is this good. Caught up on it the last two days, and I'm going to have to go back and binge again after reading the reviews/comments.
Outside of Rick's group, there seem to be two types of survirvors: those who get by on dumb luck, and those who need only the flimsiest of reasons to kill someone they see as a threat to their survival.
What's Tyreese keeping under his hat?
"but these are important characters for the comic series, not just a "new group of assholes"."
A big yes to this.
On pacing, I've been looking at this:
Sometimes it's brilliant, sometimes it's stupid.
I was thinking the same about Darryl, how skilled he is, but that he's always a follower - I like that they've kept that, presumably from growing up with Merle.

He thought the brothers would be better, but then there was disagreement over the camp they came…
A few things:
Interesting.
Oh, TWD, why do you hurt me so?
People turn as is dramatically necessary. It's a bit annoying.
I wondered that, too. Picked it up on a second rewatch - it's just before her tripping over her handily untied lace. She's having a fairly mumbled conversation with her sister about a past girlfriend - says, "I thought she was the one" and "You missed the part where she broke down and told me she had a boyfriend, and…
