RIP Shayla!
RIP Shayla!
The latter, I think. When Ollie asked if the CD caused the meltdown, that's when she started getting suspicious that he was recording her.
And kept it folded up in his pocket to boot.
She was part of the FBI team investigating the arcade. The actress' name (Olivia Washington) jumped out at me as an Olivia Pope/Kerry Washington mashup.
Inigo Montoya vs. Westley?
I think she was new. Lloyd (the tech) was on-call when the DDoS attach happened in the pilot, but I'm not sure he's been seen since the the meetting with the E. Corp execs, when they kicked Angela out of the room?
The background music in the show is distracting sometimes—too many strings and flutes. I generally agree with their song selections, though.
Evil will always win because good is dumb.
Would've been a nice callback, but the answer is no, according to the podcast.
Hasn't been officially renewed, according to Vince Gilligan on the "Better Call Saul" podcast.
Jasmine rice, you just got DISSED.
Was that true in 2003? Interesting factoid.
That's more or less how he eventually takes out the cousin in the hospital.
Is it my imagination, or is that song about p*ssy? My Spanish es no bueno…
I think he's pretty hard on everyone in that book—you can practically feel the fury coming off the pages. IIRC, he specifically hammers Ito for allowing OJ to make that statement from the defense table.
Is Kaylee still in jeopardy? I guess the cartel never forgets, but I would think they've mostly put Mike in the rearview mirror. As far as Hector knows, Mike's already been paid his $50K and changed his story so the DA drops the gun charge.
It's probably been mentioned, but the title of next week's episode is "Nailed".
She told Schweikart she's from near the Kansas-Nebraska border. I keep thinking Saul eventually moves to Omaha to try to reconnect with Kim.
Do Tuco and Hector suspect Mike of being anything other than a passer-by who happened to bump Tuco's ride? They have no reason to know he's plotting against them, do they? As far as they know, he's just a capable ex-cop who already took their 50 G's to change his story to the DA.
"White Trash Beautiful" doesn't get enough love either. Better than "Whitey Ford" overall. I'm withholding forming my own opinions until I hear what DJ Lethal thinks.
