I read the Giver Wikipedia page every year or 8 months, just to see if they were any closer to movie information (admittedly, not the best source). The trailer really, really worries me. I'm optimistic, but somewhat worried.

Same and same.

Came here to say this.

"This" is "a dodge." There was little to no actual storyline followed up on. Gary Blauman was a new character, a disposable character, created for this purpose. And they used their third-to-last episode to go into his shit? Come on, this is the end of the series. And it's graded as an A?

Joss did.

Why?

This was my first thought! You screwed monkey!

I loved House. I hated the previous season finale with driving into Cuddy's, I hated them breaking the two of them up, too. I've never been much of a shipper, but it really did change the dynamic between them and as a result, much of the show. I watched the next season premiere and was cautiously optimistic.

Finally, I feel normal. At least on terms of pornographic endeavours.

If I can regulate when I need to pee, big business can regulate its own internal functions! Dammit @Dikachu:disqus, businesses are people too!

Agreed. Kind of bummed. Now I'm in that boat of do I even want a third season?

I too saw this, they showed some of the security in and around the games, and on the back of the jackets, plain as homosexuality, was "OMOH."

I had a friend—yeah, totally, a friend, not me, no—going through a very, very disillusioning time. Dropping out of college because he was there for the wrong reasons, developing a drinking problem, going so far as suffering from pancreatitis when he tried to quit completely cold turkey after days of realizing that the

Unfortunately, I agree.

Damn.

Please. I'll take a butchering, soulless mob god over a dancing boxer any day.

You need more downvotes. Alllllllllllll the downvotes for you. Watch the first episode—a whole one, yeah? Not five minutes. That's like hating an artist for thirty seconds of a song you heard off one album. Also known as dumb as shit.

Hah! Someone else who remembers when it was branded "Nick News W5." I'm confused why this is even on - it must cost a not tiny amount of money and probably not.. draw.. anything back. I'm trying to remember when I actually watched one of these specials, probably during the time of the first Snick scheduling.

When I was young and didn't understand baseball, I was convinced that R.C. was the soda made by the Kansas City Royals. Royals' City Cola didn't exist, except in my head.

That was my exact same feeling. He doesn't have the charisma to be a preacher, or the rhythm, or the background. What he does have is the sheer power.
