You think? I get the impression that he can be trusted.

You don't want that. Then he'll have to die like the last eighteen.
I'll take a Helix spinoff. So much potential - if they're not just a bunch of evil goons, that is.
That's actually a great idea. If you look closely, the stage has already been set for Flash vs. Legends.
Thought the same thing. Perhaps Chase and Lenny are headed to a villain's retreat for the next month (somewhere warm, of course).
Wow! Thanks for that very clear explanation of a question I've had since LoT started.
Seth is Muslim. I don't think they will want to reveal their only Muslim main character to be a secret terrorist of any sort.
The whole point is that the Red Hand is just as villainous as the aliens. It's a no-win situation, very much like the Syrian Civil War where everyone is under pressure to support either the Assad government or Islamic extremist rebels.
When in doubt, Flashpoint solves everything. Because deep down, we all know everything is Barry's fault.
The preview shows that next week Oliver recruits Anatoli to kill Chase. At least that's what it looked like.
The music they were playing during that scene really sounded like something bad was about to happen.
I don't think he's a jihadist, given TV's current anti-stereotype kick and the fact that jihadists have not factored much into the story so far. But mark my words, something's going on with him. He's covering up his past for some reason.
The whole time that scene was going, I was literally standing in front of my television yelling, "DON'T BLOW UP THE HELICOPTER!"
Aww…but trying to keep shows consistent with their internal logic is so fun!
I take it as a general rule that no one is decent on this show besides Kirkman and his wife (and to some extent Hannah Wells). The whole idea is that he's thrust into a pit of vipers. Emily probably has a dark side to her as well, it just hasn't been seen yet.
Helix and Chase probably both work for Talia. I have half a mind to say that she's been manipulating Oliver (and his crew) since his time in Russia, using him to carry out some yet-to-be-revealed master plan. After all, she is the one who encouraged him to become the Hood and start killing names on his father's list.…
I think it's in or near the present. The fashion, especially the Adidas-ish activewear, looks 2010s to me.
And on top of it all, Lenny also serves as a spot-on allegory for depression/self-destructive mindset. She's a chilling horror villain that epitomizes a scary problem that millions of Americans struggle with.
And LOL on the Season 3 finale thing.
Of the two, it's probably Seth. He keeps changing his backstory in very suspicious ways (as highlighted in his scene with Emily this week).
