It was always going to be overstuffed with Superior, Aida, Ghost Rider, Mace's death's consequence and the Framework and bringing all of them together. It could've been a lot of worse, but I believe they've done the best they could without compromising the emotional elements of their characters.

I think the rider has to choose someone with some darkness/pain/guilt in him/her. Cousin killed Ward and probably that is why the Rider chose him.. Don't think Jemma has any such issues..

I didn't watch the show after seeing the pilot for a long time. I then started watching it cuz at that time there wasn't anything else in TV and was surprised when I reached s01e17. It still had cheesiness till the finale, but it was still good. Season 2 is a huge improvement with much less cheesiness and it will help

That is an assumption. The conversation Radcliffe had with Fitz teased immortality which could mean many things. I'm going with the idea that if you transfer to the real world from the Framework you'll never age. I could be very wrong though..

Again, I agree with you that Mack shouldn't be stuck in the Framework forever and I'll be pissed if that is the case at the end of the season. I was justifying only this episode's event. And how could AoS fuck over Tripp again? This whole Agents of Hydra arc was also done to give a nod to old characters, if not all of

I saw that too. Lets hope for the best..

Sorry bro, but I will defend it. Obviously, you don't like the way this went through. But to me this connection to Hope was teased brilliantly from Episode 7 of this season. Let's just agree to disagree on this..

A) Fitz had to be removed from the Framework, and he'll definitely have the guilt with him. I believe his guilt for killing people and love for Jemma (which is more than his love for Ophelia and his dad), will make his final decision to choose the real world instead of the Framework.
B) Mack doesn't have to deal with

Bro, he was already so depressed by the loss of Hope that GR found his soul worthy to be infected with. Imagine how he would deal with the memory for having raised a daughter for many years, even though it wasn't real. Even if he came to the real world, he would wanna go back at some point.

Even if Daisy KO'd Mack and brought him to the real world, he would still remember Hope and would've been really depressed. I think this is probably a way for the writers to bring Hope to the real world, but the downside will be that she'll remain a girl forever..

It's not personality, it's programming for Aida in real world. She wants complete control over what she does and Madame Hydra seems to have that in the Framework, which is were Project Looking Glass comes into picture..

Anyone noticed how Aida in the real world had a change of emotion when she saw Mace's monitor showing that he was deceased? I get a feeling that Madame Hydra is more of a side effect of the Dark hold than the conscience of Aida herself. I'll be cool with that because Aida's programming is not AI to feel those emotions
