Saul in the future, just can't take it anymore. He wants out.
Saul in the future, just can't take it anymore. He wants out.
I like Better Call Saul because it gives context to just how insane and volatile Walt really was.
While watching BB, I kinda got caught up in the move from story to story, but the slow creep here in Saul helps illustrate how most people would deal in these empires and gangs.
It was a fairly common theory, but GRRM answered No, to the question of if Benjen was Coldhands.
And this will hold, if he's not being an ass and saying stuff like "Lady Stoneheart isn't who she used to be" either.
Said Ripley … the Android Bishop.
On mah tits. WHAAAAAAAAT!
Okay, so if we assume that only the four agents, Phil, May, Fitz, and, I assume, Mack, have had their "Pain Erased" then the four events that must have changed are, in order:
He never left his wife.
She never killed the child.
… Don't know yet. Probably something to do with his dad that led him to not enrolling in Shield.
…
Now the only question is will season 3 have 5 episodes or will they turn the last book into a movie?
He's….. He's wearing a sock over his head. That is glorious.
That's why I was confused about it at first too.
But, Season 1 premiered in December of 2013.
As of right now, Three years have passed.
Maybe not in-universe, but in real-time.
It really did need a lot more focus. Some of the gags fell flat, others were pretty funny. But it was so… uneven. Sometimes in these lack of focus episodes I think they force multiple plots together to fill the full time. But this… it felt different. Like someone envisioned the whole story but didn't care enough to…
Essentially, they both hate the other, and think that being together makes them worse. But they stay together because………………..

JUST got the 97 years gag.
So about that, if you watch during his 'invention of interdimensional travel' whenever one of the 'ricks' talks, he has his eyes closed and face down. Like he's concentrating.
I at least liked the end. It was a pulpish action scene with, honestly, expected twists.
(Danny DOESN'T kill anyone? Shocking!) But the superpowers made the scenes fun.
It's what they forgot for most of the season.
They could have made IF so much more interesting if they actually had Danny be both more innocent and…
It really sucks how long it took the series to get to any regular level of quality. Still, it finally got here. And while cheesy and overly dramatic, I enjoyed it.
See, I read that scene as everyone suspects, but are too scared to question them.
I kinda liked that. If you notice, he starts off mimicking his moves, then sorta speeds up slowly, so that HE is the one doing the motions first.
A nice little spot that implied Danny could feel the chi and motions in the air.
At least that's how I read it.
So, I kinda broke down and finally watched the rest of the season in one go yesterday.
And I have to say.
It actually got pretty enjoyable.
Not great great.
But fun.
They hit the right balance of campy, goofy, serious, and style.
It was… okay, it was kinda great.
Still, a shame it took nearly the whole season to get there.
…
It seems like most of the cast are able to have fun in the roles. I think that's what these movies need.
I like Harold.
Or rather, I enjoy seeing him act like a full on supervillain.
He's having FUN.
It's sorta infectious.
Kinda like Colleen's wound.
Also, I thought it was pretty obvious her sensei was like her version of Stick?
