I love seeing the weird ways Jake's and Lady Rainicorn's powers mash up, and seeing a new iteration is fun.
Teleport stretch begets Lady Skater Thor.

I mean, it's a little different. One is to escape and save someone horrible and nice respectively, while the other is something to satisfy their own curiosity.
Also, if I remember correctly, this has mother and father decode a message.
To have fun, i did it too, but I noticed three of the "t"s were replaced with "n"s. It makes me wonder if there are any other code inconsistencies, and if they spell a message.
This episode had my favorite joke of the series so far in the kids stealing/borrowing everything they need to sail out, while Lemony notes the apprehensiveness of the executives.
Then, Violet grabs the jackets too.
Loved this. So many fun references and quick blink and you'll miss it jokes. Absolutely loved this back end of an already fantastic series.
Also, finally figured out what the set style was reminding me of.
All the slightly bright colors and precise placement remind me of a cake with a thick, almost rubbery, coating.
How could Monty know what Olaf looks like? He was in the piano at the time.
Although, I question how he got a copy of the photo.
I really liked this. A lot of small gags threaded through the (for the Simpsons) cohesive and well thought out plot.
Book forewarning: It's important.
For some reason?
…oops. I finished.
I'm having fun.
There are flaws. No matter what, there are flaws in everything.
But I'm having fun. This sick, terrible, depressing series of tragic events is fun.
And that's more than enough for me.
Or The Snicket parents.
Who said Lemony was in the recent future, and not the far flung slightly further future.
… lie back down.
I don't agree. in theory.
In practice, all three of the stories here were great. Each with their own highs that made them fantastic.
But, I agree in that they were all crammed together. I would have saved the Cam-Alex-Haley story for later and expanded the other two to get deeper into each, but as for what we have.
I'm…
Best parts were two different Tammy and Jocelyn slams.
Zeke: You two are making me feel smart.
Louise: They don't allow trash on the beach either.
… I guess Gina was… put on the bus.
So is this basically Rayman Run, only Mario-ish?
I liked the short time we got to see South World.
Overall, I always felt this show was colder, emotionally speaking, than most others.
And I agree with you that it all feels like a prologue to what needs to have been a more interesting story.
If they had stopped messing around with the timelines, they'd have been able…
I always found Rory's main flaw to be that she WANTS excitement and thrills and something that will show her more than where she is.
It's why she chose each of her paramours.
It's why she wanted to be a journalist. Traveling and seeing the world.
Rory is exactly the person who'd love the LADB.
Wow.
Phil really does get shocked a lot.
But still, it was a funny episode overall.
Though the Jay and Luke storyline felt like it could have been slotted in almost anywhere. And was creepy as hell.
Still.
Good episode.
The toned down palette did feel a little "filter-y" but I do enjoy when they start mixing the Blue and Red tones of light. I like the aesthetic.
Overall, a fun episode. Aida helped a lot and is moving more and more towards being a massive intellectual powerhouse, while the plots of our dear Senator and the Shield team…
