"Oh my god, this is what they think."
Moral myopia always bothers me if it's never questioned.
Nice to see we can see Jake's self-aware.
Also, it's "we" now Jake. You're one of "them" now.

I say a good comedy is one where you can laugh about a character's hobbies and actions but smile because you know they actually enjoy it.
That's why I love Bob's Burgers. It revels in the ridiculous but confidently wears it for all to see.
It was really much darker than The Simpsons should be. That being said, there were a few good moments in the episode like the glass hook gags and I actually liked spring break nuclear plant.
My first gues was Wes, but that'd be way too obvious. Bonnie was someone I didn't consider since Laurel is being trained to take her place.
But I'm thinking it's either Laurel or Oliver.
Both have strong connections to her, and she has altered both of their lives a startling amount. Both reached for it, though, yet she…
Most of last season seemed, off, to me. Like, normally they laughed a bit at stuff, but there was always a heart at the center of episodes. You'd laugh at these people, but that's because they were being ridiculous or having fun and you'd enjoy that. But last season was more… Making fun of them. It was caustic and…
I'm just continually reminded, especially in this episode, just HOW similar these two guys are.
And still how different they can be.
If I had to choose two from the 99 to carry an episode,
I might choose Rosa and Terry.
But Jake and Holt would definitely be a good close second.
And probably hold it better, being all fully…
The main problem I think South Park will tackle this season, like PC culture last year, is how people don't want to deal with problems because they'd have to admit there is one.
A concept so simple anyone can understand it.
But…
The country went through it.
Not everyone believed racism was solved 8 years ago, but a lot…
I'm sticking with my prediction that Tyrell has been impersonating Elliot online.
I'd actually kinda like it if they weren't a straight up villain like Zhang and Price. But more of a slow mover. Like in the way Zhang hacks time, Elliot hacks people, and Price hacks… Motivations?. The new boss would hack connections. Like they see the web that connect people and they slowly play it like a violin.
I think Price thinks of Elliot under Whiterose's sway who is under his competitor, the Chinese diplomat. I don't think we know the "possibly second" yet. I think we'd see it in season 3, should we get it.
I always thought the three of them had good chemistry together. Nice to see they're sticking together and sciencing too.
I think? Not sure really. It's like that pause between "making it work" and "our act" that confuses me.
Some people say they're just suppossed to be Tradgedy and Comedy, and that's what the subtext should be read as, and I can see that.
But…
I don't know. Maybe I'm just reading too much into things.
Seeing Whiterose and Price talking was…. fantastic.
Based on the last couple episodes, I think this season is going to be all about fusions and the metaphorical connections to it. I think by season's end, we'll see Steven and the gems form the big temple sized fusion.
I just legitimately thought the prison-like undertones were meant to be more metaphorical, not literal.
It's the type of show to laugh at someone for trying so hard, but in the same breath would cheer for them to go farther with complete sincerity.
I guess you could also use the speed at which he went through the series as another hint. The only way I managed my speed was because I was on summer break.
I thought he was intentionally avoiding all Fsociety stuff, and that he was keeping to his routine as much as possible because it was his choice to do so.
… I kinda trusted him a little too much for this show.
… How the hell do people predict this shit?
As depressing as it might sound, I honestly think that the series is building towards his eventual suicide. And it'll be, like Diane said in this season, after his biggest success. I think even after, I assume, his daughterenters his life, he'll still feel meaninglessness in everything.
I think the story will have a…
