This was actually a REALLY good episode. I was laughing pretty consistently throughout. I can't think of pretty much any criticism. I loved it. From the subversion of old gags ("Thank you for listening to my objections.") to playing up the old ones. (I'd quote Mr. Burns slurping from a monkey head, but that'd just be

I think Princess Day counts more as a LSP episode than really one that centered on Marceline.

Seriously, NO Mention of the cybernetics that are in Susan's head? 'Cause there are cybernetics in Susan's head. And I think she's actually, technically, human. That's…pretty big as a character revelation.
Also, Susan is wonderful and a master of disguise.

…I like it.

I keep seeing this in my criticisms of the newer simpson episodes, that each go to go gag, although they're more or less pretty good. Personally, I loved Marge's montage at the beginning, and the bar spiraling out of control.
But, I keep getting this feeling like they're having trouble with the throughline. Like when

If you ever saw Parks and Rec's first season, then Martin is like the space versiion of Andy to me, at that point.
Spoiler: if you ever plan on seeing it.
Andy lies to Ann for months, about being able to take his cast off, so she can enjoy taking care of him. After Leslie falls into the pit next to their house and Ann

I think I figured out Barry's logic chain.
Katya dumped Barry.
But Barry likes Katya and still wants to be with her.
So blame shifts to Boris.
But Barry will never consider Boris to be better than him at anything. He is beneath hatred for him.
So we have to go further back.
Things probably got tenser when Katya got a

Childhood existensalism. Such a weird state, for those who have so much ahead, yet question their own place in it.

One of the things I like most in this episode was around the end. Where Evergreen, after learning of Gunther's true wish and how he portrays it, seems to realize he might not have been the best parent.
"Just do a concentration spell or… Like… I meant to teach you."
Those quiet words spoke a lot to me about how some

During the race, I was actually getting kinda excited. Mostly because, I view this show as a reconstruction of a standard sitcom. The writers would acknowledge how hard it would be for each to win. Tina still competes hard with Bryce, while Louise trains hard in every race to get as good as she was. But as in life,

Well.
One out of three.

A) They're together. And adorable.
2) my only wish is that we had that one more episode. Some things just felt, not rushed, but… Quick. Like we skipped the pauses we needed for the proper effect.
lll) Loved the action sequences in both sides. It showed just how determined each side was, and how prepared. (Seriously,

A fun idea just occurred to me.
They end the season with Kuvira winning.
Now, hold on.
They do it to force Nick to give more funding since the fan outcry will be so big you could deafen yourself listening to it.
They swing it right, and there's a third series, about growing up in a united world, but without freedom.
Our

*ahem* stone cold.

Kuvira does have a reaction to firing the weapon at the end.
She pauses.
Most of Kuvira's actions have been steady and controlled, and whenever she waits, she's always calculating it for effect.
But that pause was for her.
And in the very last few moments you can see tears *just* start to creep up under her eyes. Not

The more I watched this episode, the more uncomfortable I got.
I found it a little funny woth Luke and Manny trying to tell Lily about what they think sex should be like. But the undertones of Luke's puppet being owed sex, made it uncomfortable.
Haley's plot of hanging around her family I can actually buy, believe it or

An overally complicated mess that I absolutely loved.
Loved all the hidden little jokes and references they used from the past season.
Things just got more and more meta. It was…
Fun, to say the least.
An interesting end to a really good season.

Sometimes there isn't a metaphor.
To paraphase an often used expression, sometimes a giraffe is just a giraffe.
And the differences and references are only those.

I liked the idea that there was a waffle there.
Didn't hear all of MM's chant, but I think the basis of it was that Jake could have chosen to stay there if he had found and eaten the waffle.
But he didn't know about it.
He overlooked it.
In keeping with the artist metaphor, would that mean that some artists overlook some

I thought the cycle was broken, so she's the last avatar, unless it can be repaired.
Then again, that's probably not common knowledge.
