No you are not nuts. The first film draws most of it's inspiration from the early run of the original comics. While I'd hesitate to call the arc a timeless classic it's very much, as you say, 'solid as hell' and holds up far better than the cartoon. As a kid all I cared about was the cartoon ofc, but it certainly

Adrienne Palicki does deserve a go at being the lead of her own show but, yes, AoS is diminished without the presence of Bobbi the Hottie. Her introduction seemingly cemented the show's turnaround in Season 2. Hunter well, eh, maybe Lincoln will be the wise-cracking boyfriend from here on (probably not). I usually did

"it's like geeks don't read comics sometimes."

Based on the abysmal ratings 'nearly one-third of the audience' is probably like 500 people. Should be no problem for her to hunt them down and collect that sweet, sweet $2.99 per episode.

I know it's week 2 of the Sava-less reviews and I should be ready to move on.

I'm warming up to the Shake and Bake romance after that sparring scene gave us Chloe Bennet grappling in a tank top. And honestly with FitzSimmons STILL lingering in 'will they/won't they' territory it's refreshing to have a nice and clear cut 'they will and they did.'

Admittedly this could still be a completely overstuffed disaster. But I mean SPIDER-MAN and the Avengers!!!!!

Well the number one reason is because, yknow, the whole premise is 'Cap fights Iron Man.' As for how they are going to plot out Tony's motivations? The likeliest option would be guilt over Age of Ultron. He had no oversight and he created a snarky murderbot that nearly ended the human race. So when the (presumably)

Honestly I was expecting a three paragraph sermon on how the new character being a female Colombian who almost exclusively spoke her native language was a step in the right direction, but Marvel could have been more progressive by making her transsexual.

Meh Wreck-it-Ralph was pretty great and no sociology minor is going to tell me otherwise!

If there's a steady paycheck in it, Winston would be proud AND frightened.

I find the 'Disney's big comeback!' marketing a bit odd. I mean Frozen was like some kind of cult experience for people, and for me personally Disney was already 'back' with Wreck-it-Ralph the year before.

Agent Carter Season 2 is probably a lot better as a binge watch anyway. And most of the people who rag on AoS haven't watched it since the third episode of Season 1.

In general I'd consider Season 2 the weaker of the two. It had great visual flair and every episode that featured Dottie and/or Howard was thoroughly enjoyable. Ana Jarvis was a charming addition as well, though her support of her husband's escapades did trend toward the unbelievable.

SG1 did the golf into a event horizon better…

The main thing I've taken away from the Reagan arc is that I think I'm over Zooey Deschanel. New Girl had already slid out of the weekly viewing slot somewhere in the back 9 last season anyway. With Jess gone I don't know that I like the show more, but I certainly don't like it less.

I think it's absolutely his plan to release the final book posthumously. I mean imagine spending your final years buried in hate mail when at least half the readership inevitably hates the ending.

For the record my personal highlight was when Jarvis got out of his restraints before Peggy and Dottie. I mean James D'Arcy ruled this two parter. Undercover at the party was a riot between tackling Dottie, butting in on Thompson picking up a girl at the bar, and observing he was talking frantically to his glasses.

I mean I loved the old Nintendo Power comics and they are well worth tracking down (they also did Metroid and Star Fox adaptations as well as an amusing Mario Bros. ongoing).

Peggy was in a pretty dark place pre-combat training if she was willing to settle for Fred. The contrast premise of the flashbacks didn't quite work for me. While Adult Peggy's flashback was a fascinating glimpse at how she nearly settled for a 'boring life' as Fred says, it didn't seem in the same league as poor Kid
