The Cap films are my favorites. The first is an excellent golden age throwback and I'm a sucker for those. The Rocketeer was one of my favorite non-cartoon films as a child.

OK yea, I do remember that bit now where Watson goes to a drug den to find some kid and ends up seeing Sherlock there too. I guess this is indeed an ongoing concern then.
First half hour I grinned at the how clever this was…. last half hour I groaned at how clever this was. Likely the chief problem is that I've largely un-invested in BBC Sherlock… a few TV movies every couple years means by the time a new one is out I'm just faintly recalling the narrative. I definitely appreciated the…
Put off watching this show and was rewarded with a marathon leading up to the finale.
And now I'm hip deep in the TV Tropes rabbit hole lol.

Avery Brooks gave DS9 it's version of the "Riker's Beard" too.
I thought there was supposed to be a Sherlock Victorian-era Christmas special?
I thought The Brink was decent. Certainly it was no Veep but the spanking it got from the critics seemed excessive.
Seems like an interesting show. Though I only clicked on this because the snapshot made it seem like someone decided to do a King of the Hill spin-off starring a middle-aged Luanne.
My gut says Fargo should be in the top spot despite not having caught up with S2. Mad Men belongs down around Hannibal. They earned their AV Club lifetime achievement awards, but kind of meandered to the finish.
Eh those B's were all begrudgingly given. The actual text reads like Cs and Ds.. The only episode he actually liked was the one that ditched the show's usual format. It just comes off as though he generally doesn't like the show. It's a valid opinion, but it colors his critiques. Compare the AoS reviews to ones done…
Based on the inclusion of SHIELD and The Leftovers I'd guess it's a commentators vs reviewer thing. Those columns are reminiscent of Todd's old Walking Dead tirades.
One of the more memorable scenes too. Had no idea it was him at the time, but instantly realized which scene it was after the headline.
Probably for the best. The Netflix season was a mixed bag but if it had ended up on Showtime we'd be in Season 10+ by now and everybody would be saying it should have been canceled after the Fox years.
My snarky comment is now that JJ has done remakes of Wrath of Khan and the original Star Wars what's left? Maybe hop over to Bond and remake Goldfinger?
My chief requirement is that show must have him at some point yell 'Where's the bomb?!' at some Putin analogue over the Moscow hotline.
Does the trailer look more appealing with a James Horner score, perhaps?
I know it's bc JLaw said she was getting a a rash or something due to the paint… but it's kind of weird for Mystique to be all 'Mutant and Proud' for two films and then apparently say 'Yea I like being normal looking' in movie three.
Not one for this season's highlight reel (well except maybe the revelation of Joan's leet Atari skills) but decent. Nice to see Alfredo back.
I was genuinely surprised that they killed Will off entirely.. I was 95% sure he got possessed at the end of '4xxx Hours' but I figured they'd lead us on for a bit and squeeze some more juice out of the love triangle. So it was a pleasant surprise to see Fitz straight up torch him Carpenter's Thing-style.
