Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney himself are both technically characters on the show now.

Aww I thought they were past this. One of my favorite scenes from last seas- er the 'first half of this season' was when Peggy, Don, and Pete got the band back together over dinner at Burger Chef.

I admit I had to IMDB her to really know what people were talking about. Her resume is good but as you suggest I don't see anything that screams 'DC are making a huge mistake.' I think it's mostly just the typical backlash that accompanies director replacements, like when Marvel dropped Edgar Wright on 'Ant-Man.'

So the one sentence version of the plot is:

The only thing missing from Fisk's little 'thanks for doing my dirty work' speech was the 'only 2% of my body mass is fat' line before he started thrashing DD.

I feel like l must have seen this before too. When the NYPD tech guy said the device was just a maze of circuits I instantly knew the purpose was to slightly delay the information. Can't remember where though. It seemed so obvious at the time I was surprised Holmes didn't wrap up the case right then.

If the toy mask version doesn't have either 'I am Batmanimus Prime!' or 'Justice League, roll out!' as a sound clip it'll be a real shame.

I haven't been a fan of Wilson Fisk. Admittedly, I'm a bit biased toward Michael Clarke Duncan's Kingpin standing out in the otherwise forgettable Ben Affleck film. I'd be more open-minded if I hadn't grown weary of the 'Kingpin's Looking for Love' plot and the general 'I'm a tortured soul, just like Tony Soprano!'

'Daredevil' works as an adult version of the MCU bc the movies already do the all-ages thing. I'd say the show isn't aiming for a higher level of realism than the films, it just takes itself waaay more seriously. This series very much feels like a cross between 'Batman Begins' and 'Hannibal' which can be a refreshing

Can't think of a role where Scott Glenn was disappointing, very good casting choice here. I'm also impressed with the kid they got to portray young Matt. He's been good throughout, but the training with Stick was definitely the highlight.

I look forward to the nerd rages when Snyder's shot-for-shot adaptation of a fight scene from a 30-year old comic is called a rip off of Iron Man vs Hulk/Thor.

Fighting Games are probably the only genre that I would pick the console version over a PC port if it's available.

I largely stopped watching The Daily Show after the finale of The Colbert Report. I still occasionally tune in, but it's been in decline for a while. I was probably only watching it out of habit bc I was going to watch Colbert anyway. John Oliver's run as fill-in host got me back into it for a bit, but he was off to

Shortly after the show ended it's run I remember some hearsay that Chase was upset that a lot of people watched the show because they thought Tony was awesome.
The whole final season was basically him intentionally ruining the series's image as the 'cool mob show' and the ending was a compromise between him wanting to

I was equally unaware that this episode wasn't universally praised. In fact I remain skeptical.

A deleted scene from after the battle shows him telling her 'snitches get stitches.'

Todd VanDerWerff fires a broadside into the anti-spoiler crowd?

People will always say 'Ocarina of Time' is the best one. And I will always tell them they must have never played 'Link to the Past.'

I'm a big Spider-Man fan so I'm fairly pleased about it. And it's smart from the perspective that Disney probably intends to still be making Marvel movies long after Robert Downey, Jr. retires. Inevitably they will be faced with either recasting the current stars (which will still definitely happen alongside an

Definitely excited for the Varys and Tyrion road trip. Disappointed that there wasn't enough time for Arya. The Wall seems primed to be become a frosty version of King's Landing this season, what with the Lord Commander election and Stannis' crew taking up residence. I mean the first scene had the Red Lady already
