This was a great arc. The first season of JLU was iffy for me. I wasn't a big DC fan growing up so all these extra characters were just foreign to me and I missed the interactions among the original seven. Then they introduced the Question and everything got awesome fast.

He was chatting with Jon Show in the trailer for next week.

Well like or not the Wall is the end game. At some point we're gonna have an army of White Walkers vs an army with some dragons out in front. I mean the very first scene of the show was all 'hey there's monsters North of the Wall, somebody should take care of that.'

Browsing your other comments I am wary of continuing a discourse with you, You have refined tastes and this episode didn't satisfy them. I am disappointed you are implicitly saying my tastes are lesser than yours, but hey the Internet is full of people reminding me that I'm wrong/dumb/ignorant.

Based on the previous seasons there will no doubt be a subverting of our expectations at some point. Then for years after people will say how the final season ruined the show… just like Battlestar, Lost, etc.

Well you clearly aren't a misanthrope but man are you jaded.

I think ultimately they will end up being more sympathetic, they are still human after all, compared to what I assume is the main enemy - the White Walkers. The group Ygritte got mixed up with were cannibals so that was the main 'good guys vs bad guys' thing here. But I wouldn't classify Mance Rayder as 'evil.' Even

Well I did say 'closest.' The main Nights Watch guys, Mormont, Maester Aemon, Jon Snow, Sam, Grenn, et al, are always portrayed as honorable folks. Even Thorne got to be heroic in this one. The organization as a whole are clearly 'the good guys' unless it's ultimately revealed that the White Walkers are actually

The opening credits were even more striking without all those pesky names in the way!

I was wondering why they gave it a B, even this guy seemed to begrudgingly give it an an A-

Humorously, this is the first comment under the first 'Pearls Before Swine' strip with a Bill Watterson drawn panel:

I always thought Apollo's fat suit was universally considered the worst thing about 'One Year Later.'

Random thoughts:
Mark didn't even wait one episode after my prediction that he'd start making backroom dealings with shady Russians.. I'm going to switch my long-term prediction to Benjamin Bratt almost certainly killing CIA nerd.

I call BS. Everyone knows the real set of a 'Star Wars' film is a giant green room.

I'd forgotten the Lord Commander was his dad! I can already picture the awkward scene where Jon shows him his fancy wolf head sword and Jorrah just sighs.

That's a pretty great analogy. I agree, no way does the TV version kill him off before the final season.. the books be damned!

Yea the Viper's head popping like a balloon overshadowed a lot of good stuff. Jorrah's dismissal was one of the biggest developments in the Dany storyline since she got the dragons… it seemed a touch out of character for her to ditch him so quick, but I guess he had been largely replaced by Sir Old Guy and Sir Sexy

When Warner finally gets around to introducing Darkseid you just know there's going to be a ton of people saying 'They copied Thanos!'

It's good to see it was such a resounding success. It's certainly the only Kickstarter that I've considered to be a worthwhile endeavor and not just a no strings, 0% interest loan for a business/celebrity.

So this is definitely going to happen. $75k left to go and 34 days left. Fastest Kickstarter I've ever heard of.
