Yeah, my thoughts exactly. That episode felt like a filler episode. All it did was introduce us to a couple of cool characters, 5K and Red, just to take them away from us while postponing the story line we all wanted to get back to another week.

This episode does seem very similar to "Chupacabra", or the episode Daryl fell off the horse and got injured and had to survive. I too think of 10K as the Daryl of Z Nation, only 10K may be even more badass, if that is possible.
