*becomes aroused*

The best clip was him trying to learn Korean from an instructor who (rightfully) thought he was a creepy, old weirdo. It's a glorious clip.

What were you expecting, though? The movie is about stealing the plans for the Death Star.

Ah, forgot about Maher. He'd be ahead of Noah in my rankings. He's way too smug, but I'd be lying if I said I don't enjoy his show.

Where does Samantha Bee rank in terms of late-night hosts with a Jon Stewart-influenced show? (I'm thinking of Bee, Colbert, Oliver, Noah, Wilmore and Meyers)

I didn't realize that about Unger, but Colbert was barely ever in "real news." I think he only did two GMA segments, if I recall an interview of his correctly.

Why doesn't Comedy Central make Craig Kilborn-era Daily Show clips available online? It's saved Jon Stewart's entire run, so why not Kilborn's? I'm always curious to see what the Kilborn-hosted show was like. There are a few clips floating around on YouTube, but I'd love to see more, if only to mock Kilborn.

Bill Clinton has been referenced on the show. But it seems clear that there's no George W. Bush or Barack Obama.

One of the show's best episodes yet. It never ceases to amaze me.

*Patiently awaits the return of Gus*

In Rainbows is just as good as Kid A and OK Computer, in my opinion. Hail to the Thief is a slight step back from those, but I think it'd qualify as "amazing," or close to it.

To be fair, Stewart tended to laugh more at some outrageous clip they'd play, at a correspondent or at the audience's reaction (or lack there of) to a joke. It was rare he'd laugh at a standard joke in a monologue of his.

I doubt he'll ever do something as intense as what Oliver did, but Colbert's show is hitting its stride lately. There have been some absolutely hilarious segments on the presidential race, and he doesn't hold back too much. And they're mixed with this great absurdism that made the Report so great. The Wheel of News in

I'd love to see Gordon Ramsay go insane and call Girl Scouts who try to sell him cookies donkeys. (Not really.) (Maybe.) (I'm a bad person.)

I don't think Better Call Saul was ever going to be a redemption story considering he ends up as Saul Goodman and eventually as some poor schmuck on the run from the feds and evil dudes after that. But I'm with you otherwise. They've gotten me so invested into Jimmy McGill that it's going to be painful to see him

I was wondering if Odenkirk had anything to do with it (aside from the great delivery, of course). Makes sense. I almost wondered if he was improvising and making the names up on the spot.

Very original, well done.

I assume Andy is remaining on Conan as sidekick/announcer, right?

I thought it was bad when Stewart and Colbert would tell similar jokes, but now you have Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Samantha Bee, Larry Wilmore, Seth Meyers and Weekend Update on SNL relying on the same source material. Joke crossover is just part of the game now, I guess.

I get the same impression, but again I don't know why. Maybe it's because her bits rely a lot on pop culture references and her personality, as opposed to the somewhat wonky bits Colbert and Oliver did.
