I thought the finale was solid and well written. The characters actions and dialogue were believable. And the score fit the rhythm of the story.

Agreed. He does not have a good grasp on the material.
Yeah so easy you never considered it. lol
It's most famous 'Red' A in literature. And they only focused on Rick's stamp. But you go right on thinking it's a "train car".
If you can't understand why they only focused on them and the Scarlet A, which is the most famous "Red" A in all of literature, I can't help you. Sorry. I guess you didn't even notice that they flashed their stamps at each other the next day? .But you go on thinking it's a train car there champ.
It's not 'unexplained'. The stamp is a reference to Hawthorne's novel, "The Scarlet Letter". The 'A' is for Adultery.

Um, no. The Red (or rather Scarlet) Letter A is from Hawthorne's novel, "The Scarlet Letter". The 'A' is for Adultery. You know, foreshadowing what will happen? Didn't you wonder why they flashed their stamps to each other later in the street?
I would have loved to have been in the room when someone explained it to him. "Um, why would you need to "conserve" something that is reusable? You do realize that the bullets aren't the reason for the silence..?" He must have thought long and hard (after turning red faced, then pale) as to whether to edit that…
Nice to see someone remembers Hawthorne, even if it was a bit obvious. Scarlet Letter A? First at the party and then again on the street? I thought they were going to start reading passages from the book to each other. Adultery foreshadowed with all the subtlety of a hammer to the head.
The fact that every member of Rick's group is being taped, like some bizarre post-apocalyptic audition, makes me wonder about the folks who are watching these tapes and why. Are they off screen somewhere studying them, finding their weaknesses? Probably giving too much credit to the writers, it's most likely a…
You remember the part where she said she used to be a "Congress Person"? I think that sums it up. Maybe the writers are making some kind of dumb statement..
Yeah, well, I'm pretty certain the writer thought that the bullets caused the silence, not the "suppressor". It just wouldn't make any sense otherwise, given the way he wrote it. And I bet he was red faced when people explained it to him later..
You're correct. I believe the writer is awfully confused. He (Zack) thinks the "bullets" are what produces the silence. Not the actual Silencer. 'Sigh'.. Why else would he use the words "conserve". You conserve bullets, not silencers or pictures. Very strange indeed..
He's a PHD..
I liked Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I didn't think it was that 'dark'. It was homage (or part of it was) to a 70's spy thriller. When I wrote 'dark', I was referring to films such as 'Man of Steel' which had very little joy.
Hey Thanos, the nominations came out a while ago. You might want to wake up there. I guess reading and observation aren't part of your powers. You couldn't destroy paper cup, never mind the "entire earth".
Not just that, but huge paydays for the winners in future roles - salaries go way up - not to mention the fact that they also get first pick of choice parts in upcoming movies. So Oscars really do = Money.
What 'leftover feelings' are you referring to? Inception has zero to do with the awards Interstellar was not nominated for. It's just not a very good film.
Wow. A comparison of Boyhood and How the West Was Won. In length only, I get it. But still…kudos. I love How the West Was Won. I know I probably shouldn't, but it's just so damn much western mythological fun. Plus it has Gregory Peck, Karl Malden, Debbie Reynolds, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, James Peppard and so many,…
