One question, and the true cliff-hanger: How can Dar afford such a huge house?

We were warned about the secret entrance. Has there ever been a tv show, movie, etc. in which the secret entrance hasn't been used by the bad guys? Or the good guys to get the other good guys (who have vital, but damning, information), before the stupid-good-guys-only-doing-their jobs get to the good guys.

There is a lot of LeCarre at the center of this season. There is a lot of "24," too. The show is at it's best when Carrie and Saul are faced with decisions that seem out of character. LeCarre-esque characters, as we know, let the ends justify the means. Saul is a less subtle Smiley. He's doesn't have a problem
