I'm glad that the Mercian soldiers put up at least a tiny fight against the Vikings. My heart soared when I saw those filthy Norsemen and women die from Mercian arrows and spears. Not to mention when that one Mercian badass literally bashed Porunn's face in, that was amazing.

Which makes for bad tv, only dumbasses can take the Vikings' side

I hope Burgred defeats those filthy Northmen, although it will probably be a one-sided slaughter in favor of the Vikings, as it always is in this predictable show.
