I think some of it is a production necessity. They only finished filming the first season this week and they have been shooting for over a year for S1. I can't decide if I'm happy to have had some of it now or if I wished they had waited until it was all ready to go. (AMC, on the other hand, is totally milking its

I don't know what this says about me as a person, but I sort of missed at least one of the two instances that would have happened in this episode. (If I remember right, while it isn't MURDERsex, they have a go after the raid on their camp and Jamie says straight out that fighting makes him horny).

I've been wondering this too. It's explicitly stated that they resemble each other, so I'm guessing there is a decent chance, unless they decide it's overkill.

They would have to really be playing with his age. If they follow the books, we should see him briefly in Season 2 as maybe 16 years old?

I'm not minding the voice over much in the early episodes because I think it is probably necessary, but I'm hoping it will diminish over time.

I've read the books multiple times and I STILL had the "Damn, Jamie gets knocked around a lot!" moment last night.

I hadn't thought of that. Could younger men have tended to go beardless? I don't remember ever really being introduced to another man Jamie's age at Leoch in the book.

I feel like an absolute asshat in having no doubt that Abigail was dead all season.

You can't really go in wanting an accurate period piece for sure (unless ladies at court really did wear sequins and cropped shirts now and then). But it is great fun and worth it for Megan Follows' lines alone. Somehow when I wasn't paying attention it became the only show other than Sunday night's GoT/Mad Men
