I'm with you, my weekend is set, can't wait to dig into this. Gilead is unfathomably beautiful, one of my all time favorite novels.

Can confirm. One of the best of the past decade or so, IMO.

Wrong episode, dickweed. Wait, sorry, I don't mean to be so harsh. I'm just torn up by this episode and all.

Mad Men Mad Men Mad Men. Please tell me I'm not alone here.

You must have forgotten about "when you absolutely positively gots to kill every MFer in the room … accept no substitute."

It was great to see some The Thick of It alums in this ep (the reporter who kept wanting to get a drink, the reporter in the press conference who asked 'how fat were you?'). Did I miss any?

Bob Dylan's episode is either the best thing or the worst thing Dylan ever did, according to Dylan fans. There is no in between. Me, I just like it for the version of 'Dignity.'

John le Carre. I've read everything he's written, most of them twice, and the man's in his 80s….his latest novels are (almost) as good as his classics. Please, more, before you shuffle off this mortal coil you god of spy lit.

I'm guessing at least half of the people who read this haven't seen "Synecdoche, New York." You need to go watch it now.
