the song that was like "no one laughs at God" or whatever was probably one of my least favorite music cues in any scripted TV show— it completely took me out of the scene (and on top of that, I really hated the song and the singer's annoying indie-chanteuse voice). So did the weird cover of "You're The One That I

Every time this Martin Shkreli guy comes up, I get the overwhelming urge to point out that he's really good-looking. I know he's a terrible person, but… his nose… and eyes.. he looks like an elf

Lovetrap by Ariel Pink and Soko.

aww thank you!

Cyclops tied up and in a gimp suit, surrounded by women dressed like dominatrixes. Must be Tuesday.

you know, I just don't really like space stories, so I didn't read past issue 1 of the Cyclops solo series (I'll read it someday…).

I've been reading X-Men, I'm at around issue 160 of Uncanny. I've also been reading the tail end of Bendis's run, but apparently Cyclops and Havok team up in a different series somewhere and I'm annoyed because I feel like you need to read like thirty different series to get the entire story. SIGH.

I mean, if the world truly wants more Henchgirl I might have to comply, but as it is, issue 11 finishes the story and ties up all the loose ends. Or at least all the loose ends I can remember. If I were to continue it, it'd have to be like, a different character's perspective I think. Tina's World of Carrots, perhaps?

it's me, Kristen, of Henchgirl notoriety! If you truly want a physical copy of issue 1, it's available from my site here: http://www.henchgirlcomic.c…

don't worry, after issue 11 there will be a cosmic reboot event

ummm no I'm pretty sure the grading system for O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s is letter-based

It's funny to think back to the days when you had to listen to whatever was in your discman, versus having infinite albums at your fingertips at all times.

there was a time in my life (around age 11) when all I listened to were various Pokemon CDs. Hence, M2M. Also, hence my very impressive ability to spout most of the PokeRap to this day.

can't it be both?

ahh, I guess I've read them, then. Except for Fraction's run, I guess I'll add that to my to-read list.

Ya know, when 1 came out I was around 13, and it was my first foray into the works of The Beatles (and possibly also helped steer me toward better taste in music, depending on your opinion of M2M and Jewel). I think it was a good starter album for those who missed The Beatles when they happened. Sure, I'd heard them

…but Emma's costume has a vertical strip of her torso showing, and Illyana's has a horizontal strip plus boob window! It is funny that they had such similar faces.

Cyclops is easily my favorite comic book character, bar none. He is complicated and fascinating, provides a good contrast to overrated "cool guys" like Wolverine, and both his 'perpetually repressed good guy with a stick up his ass' characterization AND his 'clearly going through some issues with this ill-conceived

I read like five pages of the run following Morrison's, but the terrible, TERRIBLE art (especially that coloring— yikes!!) made me give up immediately, despite Emma and Scott being my one of my favorite OTPs. So I had only heard about Xorn being retconned.
