I like her best when she's making left-field smartypants commentaries that make the other characters roll their eyes. I can't think of any examples currently, but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about.

I actually like Piper a lot, but I like her more without Alex. When she uses her white privilege to try to effect change in the prison it can make for some exciting storytelling. But the whole "which one of us is worse?" Alex vs Piper debate-while-having-angry-sex thing, to me, seems a bit forced. Also Alex is clearly

Yeah, her character is best when she's kicking ass and making quips, and receiving lovelorn googly-eyes from Root.

I feel like at this point, the term SJW particularly applies to the radical, assholish people in the fringes of groups supporting totally worthwhile social issues. I find these people super petty and frustrating. It's like they forget "to err is human" and just write people off completely because one time in 2009 that

Seinfeld doesn't have a "hateful" brand of comedy. He's pretty safe.

Is nothing sacred?

more like, wish George Harrison were here at this party! Am I right?

I get the feeling Of Montreal's Kevin Barnes is reading this article smugly…

Blink 182 has that one song that uses the word "commiserating". Which I think I had to look up in the dictionary when I was a kid. I guess that puts them up on Nickelback's esteemed level of literacy.

"I love Eddie, especially the way he says "Barry" like he's in love with him. "

"It was the first time Sansa did not throw herself into the arms of a knightly person offering her safety."

Ok, I'm totally sold. Where would I start if I wanted to read Squirrel Girl?

Do you watch The Americans? Do they show that in Russia? I'm always wondering how legit living-in-Russia Russians feel about it.

Yeah, I'm reading the Frank Miller run, and The Hand have a nifty way of (spoilers?) resurrecting the (spoilers?) dead.

Funny, I don't think Colton Haynes is sexy at all. His face is somehow… TOO chiseled. Charlie Cox on the other hand is like, top 10, easily.

My only issue with female representation in the show is I needed more Claire. Like, every episode please. She was awesome.
I was really impressed with Karen in this show. She constantly demonstrates bravery, determination, and cleverness, not to mention has a stubborn streak when justice is not being doled out to

Really, what about Sleeping in the Beetle Bug? That's easily my favorite song from that album. It sounds like… a long-lost Weezer song that's also the best Weezer song ever.

the album that got me into them was Gay Parade. But then, I'm really into Belle and Sebastian and "twee" music. It's like, really cute, acoustic, with tinges of psychedelia. Their music changed drastically since then, so it's not very representative (although the songwriting itself is still similar).

I don't think they're weird either, but I've noticed when I play their music, people usually react negatively to the weird tunes and chord changes. Even songs I think are super-accessible.

I agree on track 9! It sounds like Black Lion Massacre (from the Controllersphere EP), which I wouldn't even consider a "song". Just weird noises.
