A while ago my friend and I were talking shit about how boring Jon Snow was, and then saw online things like "Fan favorite Jon Snow" and stuff about how he's so popular.
We were kind of astonished, really.

Once my friends and I tried to make pudding shots with vodka, but basically took vodka, put it in a shot glass, and tried to shove pudding in it too. It didn't work out that well.

I saw Gone Girl this weekend! I thought it was a solid movie, but I came out of it even more of a Rosamund Pike fan than I was beforehand. She did a lot to elevate the movie and I'm glad to see she's getting her due as an actress.

I have to say, I'm incredibly happy that the AV Club community is pretty overwhelmingly anti-GamerGate. Makes me feel like I've chosen a good community to hang around in.

It was a fantastic movie, but it absolutely devastated me the first time I watched it, and I had to watch it a second time in a classroom setting which was VERY difficult.
I'm excited about this one but I might have to wait until I can watch it at home so I can cry in peace.

I love cities with great public transit. I'm able to get by right now with public transit, but if I want to move anywhere I should have my license. Plus yeah, there are a lot of jobs where they want you to have a license + car, even if it doesn't seem to be relevant.

I started a new temp job and it's lasting through April, which will be a nice bit of stability. There seem to be a decent number of job openings at this company so I'm hoping I'll be able to turn this temp job into something more permanent.

I had a s'more beer at the local State Fair? It was actually not bad. There were graham crackers around the rim of the glass, a marshmallow in the beer, and the beer itself was a chocolate stout. It was actually pretty good.
