yeah! that came at me outta nowhere. at least a heads-up next time!

i'm amazed this show doesn't release scads of bloopers/outtakes. i'm sure there's tons of material, as i read that some of these sessions (plying the story out of the narrator) sometimes takes up to eight(!) hours.

it did feel like a decent point to bow out, but betty wasn't even in the last ep and her custody battle subplot gets to be left hanging forever :(

i wonder if aida'll become jocasta.

i remember thinking at the time i saw this episode: what's sarah's source of income?

enjoyed the article, but also wish they asked about her stint as senior women's issues correspondent on the daily show.

excellent episode. one of the best monologues in the show's history. had to wait for the credits to confirm that chappelle brought in chappelle's show co-creator/co-conspirator neal brennan to write. the last sketch seemed a riff off a popular little britain bit but wasn't a dealbreaker, and i too was suckered in by

"that's where we hit your back pati-OHHH!" hahahahaha

asking for the salt had to have been a nod to batman '89, right?

great episode! the whole bridge scene, donna lynne's surprise, that musical number, that hard cut to the next morning after she was drinking on the sofa, greg and his dad… superb. kudos all 'round.

are they setting up some kind of janet/jason thing?!

i LOVE bad janet. and her particular sound effect!

Chiphunk!

much as i enjoy the robbie version of ghost rider i still wish he'd trade in those non-threatening vans for a pair of boots

Lobotomatorium.

Holt's pronunciation of caboodle. breaking the window. marching band. everything holt, really.

wait, wasn't that gaby hoffman jim was canoodling with at the end? that was a hilarious ending for me. i love this show.

thank god for this episode because max was really starting to grate on me. also, nice to see so many good actors coming in and out, even in just bit parts like max's guidance counselor (michael hyatt), lucy davis, diedrich bader, etc.

fantastic job on the audio, too. that crackle and mono, lo-fi quality… love their attention to detail

i also enjoyed andy daly's line about the marching band's tribute to the filmography of zac efron.
